Hi all Not sure if this is the correct place to post.
Basically me and my bestie (both fem in our early 20s) are visiting Vegas and LA for two weeks.
We’re originally from a very small country with not much crime (i.e. two women can safely walk on the streets at night without being assaulted or mugged etc etc etc).
With that being said, one of us has lived in London for four years and both of us are from Brazil so we do have a lot of street smarts, but you can never be too careful, especially not knowing the areas and not having an American accent.
Would you ladies (or gents) recommend us carrying some pepper spray and/or a mini stun gun just in case? Would these items be allowed in bars/ stores/ restaurants in case our bags get checked?
Any useful info on navigating the cities at night safely or any areas to avoid would be appreciated as well. I personally have had traumatic experiences with men so I’m terrified of being in a situation where I’m helpless.
