So in Texas we can use deadly force in these circumstances.
A) to protect the actor against the other's use or attempted use of unlawful deadly force; or
(B) to prevent the other's imminent commission of aggravated kidnapping, murder, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated robbery
But what about 2 scenarios.
Your dog takes a poop in someone’s yard and you don’t have a bag. A verbal altercation occurs and they begin to provoke a fight with you. They then begin to commit battery and hit you. Are you able to use dead force?
Number 2:
You’re walking and someone says give me your wallet, phone and keys. But has no gun or knife or weapon you can see. Can you use deadly force?
