The gun dramatically goes click, click, click.He puts a knife in the henchman’s head. Does Hollywood not know about one in the chamber? .45 ACP in the sternum cuts the movie short.This would have never happed if he browsed this sub.Scenario 2Again not in chamberThe henchman doesn’t chamber a round going into literal battle. You know this because Hollywood action guy grabs the bad guy’s slide as the gun is being pulled from the holster.You know where this is going for the poor guy. Can’t rack in time, so his neck gets snapped. Waste of a Perfectly good Vedder Light Tuck since he carried without chambering up. Now you’re dead for the next 43 mins til the credits roll.Scenario 3This keeps happening. Are the writers completely out of touch?Bad guy pulls the hammer back on what looks like a 1911. It’s supposed to be some kind of warning before he shoots I guess.Nice aggravated assault. If there was a round racked, the hammer would already be pulled back. So you know that gun is not gonna fire. It goes off anyways because movie.Bonus points if they pull back a hammer-less Taurus and it still makes the cocking noise.Scenario 4Wasting shotgun ammoYou do not need to pump every time you pull up to a new group of things you have to shoot. Pumping ejects the casing after it is already been fired.Action guy is going to pump their Mossberg regardless for the ch chk sound effect. It’s more dramatic. And funnily enough no round is ejected. This gives me anxiety after seeing 2021 ammo prices.Scenario 5Hearing aid by 30No one wears hearing protection and this ruins immersion even on movies like John Wick that got a lot of things right.Elevator fights are the worst. Your ears would be toast if anything over a .22 was shot in there. Get some Howard Leights man.Scenario 5Suppressors make no noise at all and they are called silencers for some reason. Silencer is a brand that makes suppressors.Anything over a subsonic round, which wouldn’t cycle properly 100% of the time because there isn’t enough recoil, would make significant noise.I cringe when someone pulls a suppressed MP5 and it’s completely silent without jams and misfires.
