Where do y’all put your handgun safe (if you use one)?

I’ve got a little one that’s becoming more mobile and I’m looking into different safe options for my carry piece. Right now I have one of those $20 security boxes that has a 3-number combo but it’s a hassle to use and I’m not very satisfied with it. I’m interested in a slider or something similar to go on the side of my nightstand or maybe one of those big ugly boxes that’ll just sit on top of my nightstand or maybe inside of it.What are your thoughts?
