Who caught the Phlster Enigma product reveal last night? What are everyone's thoughts?Link to Facebook stream reveal: https://ift.tt/2ISUq2r screencaps I took if you can't watch right now: https://ift.tt/2IDTShr not affiliated with them, just a gear nut and engineering student who thinks this is neat)If you didn't watch, they revealed their new product, which they tout as a "concealment chassis". It's not a holster, a holster attaches to it. They claim most non-light bearing holsters with a wing will attach to it. It seems to be everything a bellyband wishes it was; secure, safe, comfortable, and concealing. The front features a triangle of what looks like carbon fiber or kydex, which attaches to a nylon belt. The triangle has mounting hardware that uses the same hardware and spacing as a typical concealment wing. The slide side of the triangle is skeletonized to bend and the grip side is wider to press into the wing and create the bend you want. Unlike a bellyband, which doesn't have much security in the vertical direction, this includes a thin thigh strap to help the chassis stay secure when you draw. The biggest standout to me was the series of holes on either end of the triangle to adjust the bend, cant, and ride height of the system.Overall, not a system for me, since I wear a lot of other shit on my belt, and I just bought a light bearing side-car type holster, which is incompatible with the Enigma. Definitely seems like it could be a silver bullet for people who end up wearing their belt underneath their shorts or sweats and want a better system, or people who work in a business formal environment where you need a tucked shirt and a dress belt without clips showing. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3pHkjmQ
