Pepper Spray Carry

I know this isn’t a gun related concealed carry but there’s unfortunately places where people can’t legally carry a firearm and have to resort to carrying nothing or another means of protection. I choose to carry pepper spray in those instances but have trouble with how to carry. I normally place it in the coin pocket on my jeans but it doesn’t feel secure enough and jabs my hip bone when I sit. I also don’t want it stuffed in my pocket as I want immediate access to it just like a firearm. Two ideas I have is making a aiwb holster or adding it to my keychain and figuring out a way to quickly access it.
