My life was in danger at my corporate job.

Tonight I was at work, I work at a cell phone sales store for a larger company, when a man came in asking for help with an issue he had regarding one of our products, I was unable to assist him and gave him other options to fix the issue. He was not having it. He got in my face, completely unprovoked and started screaming at me to fix his issue. When I asked him to leave my store he started charging at me and verbally threatening my life.Being a corporate environment I'm unable to have my firearm on my person (even though I have my license and am very well practiced). I can't do much, other than try and call the police or get to one of our panic buttons. He was absolutely bat sh*t insane. He at one point had me cornered before I could get to a panic button and was screaming in my face how he was going to wipe me off the planet. I couldn't reach for my phone or a panic button. He eventually left, the cops and my manager both came to my store. But I was absolutely shook. What could I have done to get him out of my face? Or from harming me? I kept my hands up and my eyes on him even when he was charging me. I felt so helpless, I didn't want to lose my job for hitting him, I didn't have my firearm on me. What does one do in that situation?Long story short: my life was in danger while I was on the clock at my corporate job and did not have time or opportunity to call or sound an alarm for the police. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/32Yuqu0
