My doctor recently diagnosed me with "meralgia paresthetica".From the Mayo Clinic:Meralgia paresthetica is a condition characterized by tingling, numbness and burning pain in your outer thigh. The cause of meralgia paresthetica is compression of the nerve that supplies sensation to the skin surface of your thigh.https://ift.tt/2IMKp6U the listed causes for meralgia paresthetica are "tight clothing, such as belts" and "wearing a heavy tool belt". One of the things my doctor quickly noted was my phone being borne on a belt clip, and he suggested I remove it or switch it to another side.I haven't started carrying my gun yet, but it occurred to me that this is something that could also impact the CCW community. So, I figured I'd post here to see if anyone else has had a similar diagnosis and how it's affected your CCW life?Note: I personally disagree with the diagnosis for myself, due to a number of factors specific to my case, but that's not what this thread is about. I'm just curious to see if this impacts the CCW community, in the way it would seem likely to, and how those affected are dealing with it. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2K95KIq
