The neighborhoods immediately north and east of me have had a drastic increase in carjackings, and it's spilling into my area. I am a woman and I just completed cancer treatment so I am weak. There is no way I can avoid these areas. I will not carry a gun due to an incident in my childhood that left me with PTSD. What can I do? I already lock my doors, don't travel at night, and make sure my car doesn't get boxed in. I try to stay on main roads. What else can I do?
