How much movement is acceptable in a holster?

I have two Vedder Light tuck holsters. One for the p365XL (no safety) it has essentially 0 movement when locked in place in the holster. The other light tuck is for a Springfield EMP (with safety) and it has about a 1/4 inch of vertical movement (barrel to hammer) when locked in place while being worn and about 1/16th inch side to side movement. This is when both guns have a similar amount of draw retention. Is this wiggle room acceptable? Is it a function of the safety vs not safety or one gun design Over the other? The trigger guard is never exposed with the movement. Thoughts? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3ey5pdx
