Has the Springfield XD-E been successful enough to spur other manufacturers to try entering that niche?

It seems that the single stack DA/SA has an allure to some portion of the CCW crowd. Springfield obviously picked up on it and created the XD-e as a solution. Have sales been strong enough to convince others that it’s a category worth pursuing? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2tiISL4
