Since conceal carry reciprocity doesn't look like it's going anywhere, how about this incremental step?


If we can't get CCW reciprocity, what do you all think about in the meantime, extend the FOPA (Firearm's Protection Act that allows interstate transportation of arms) to grant CCW permit holders the right to conceal in non reciprocal states as long as they stay in their car or around it? Similar to the way Illinois treats the issue.That would help ME out a lot since I have to travel through Maryland a lot. It's not ideal but no one could really scream the state's rights angle since it's just redefining an existing law and it's your personal vehicle. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2p2opIB
