CCW in PA - Myths?

Recently I have been considering getting a CCW in PA (mainly to reduce my liability if a weapon was in the car or transportation to/from the range). However, my uncle has been saying that some of his friends said that a CCW in PA is a big mistake. I am a hardcore supporter of the 2nd amendment and police (whereas he seems that they are all out to get you, I think they're there to help). All that aside, he said his friend said having a CCW gives an officer the right to show up at the front door and state something along the lines of "You are listed as having a CCW, I need to see all of your firearms now.". Upon rendering said firearms, the officer has the ability to confiscate them and it could take years to get them back....My question is... Is this common/a possibility? Or is this a statement by someone who is afraid of Obama era gun policies and said just to reflect that individuals distaste for the direction of gun policy in the US?Thank you very much for your time and thoughts! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2EKr4jr
