I work as a leasing agent in a not so fantastic city. I had an appointment yesterday at 3:30 pm on what is widely considered the worst block in the city though it is usually fine during the day. My appointment ended up being early. I had time so we went over and I showed the property. They decided they didn't like it, and we left. We were gone by 3:15. At 3:30 a lady got shot and killed right outside that doorstep. Had my appointment been on time I would have been right there amidst the chaos.
