Hi there, I recently signed up for self defense classes at a Brazilian jiu jitsu academy. The first class was nerve wrecking because there were 3 girls (including myself) and 8 guys. I felt nervous partnering up with a guy at times. Next class is coming up this weekend. How do I overcome my fear of being a girl in a male dominated BJJ class?
