I am considering a Sig P238 (SAO) for CCW. My question is why is it recommended to carry it cocked AND locked if it has a firing pin safety? This prevents the pin from moving if the hammer falls on it without the trigger being pulled. The trigger pull is 7-8 pounds, which is more than a typical glock but the glock isn't seen as unsafe without safety engaged?
