My P365XL has proven to be unreliable (giving multiple failure to extract across many different grains and reputable bullet manufacturers). I've shot about 1,500 rounds out of it and I clean the hell out of it after each trip to the range. I've sent it back to SIG TWICE and even after they are replacing the extractor/extractor spring and a few other firing mechanisms - I am still getting consistent enough failure to extract that the gun is not reliable to me so I sadly need to replace it.SIG Customer Service is also being unhelpful and refusing to exchange my gun for a new one even though I am having demonstrable problems, and their lead supervisor even told me "if you are having 2-3 failures every 100 rounds - a 2% failure rate isn't unacceptable" - something I extremely disagree with and am SHOCKED that I was told that by a LEAD supervisor over there.So I need to jump ship from SIG and find another alternative.Requirements #1 and #2 is that the gun needs to be DEAD reliable. Full stop.This is my carry gun and I plan on keeping it stock (except for new sights or even an optic but the optic isn't necessary).I am considering the Glock 43x or the Shield Plus but leaning towards the Glock just because of (what I read as) their legendary reliability. I shot the Glock 43x yesterday at the range and it didn't feel like anything special - but it dosn't have to imo for what I need I just need it to 100% work every time with anything I put in it.Wanted your thoughts on the subject thanks via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3H9CBG6
