I am also guilty of having purchased a handgun in the past without shooting it. Twice actually. One of them worked out but the other I can't hit the broad side of a barn and it hurts the hell out of my hand.Finally went to the range and rented some guns thinking I'd be getting the Shield Plus after my "research".Surprisingly, although the Shield Plus wasn't the worst one, I just wasn't impressed at all. I shot a little high, the magazine into magwell was looser than.. who knows what, the grip was very aggressive, sights very narrow, and not comfortable to hold. It's trigger was awesome though.G43x had a light primer strike and was hurting the hell out of my finger. Also wasn't as accurate. Did NOT like this gun.G26 Gen5 ended up being the best shooting pistol for me and most comfortable. It just seemed like the better gun than any of the new offerings.So after all of these micro9s released in the golden age of CCW and I end up loving a gun from 1994. Go figure.Anyways, you could spend days, hours weeks, reading testimony. In the end you have to go shoot it.
