CCW in TX for military member

Hello everyone! Looked online but couldn’t find much info so I’m hoping the good people of this sub could help me. I’m currently active duty army stationed in TX. I have my concealed carry permit (from Georgia) and a Georgia license. My wife has her TX state ID. I want to take her to get her concealed carry permit (she is proficient with her handgun (Sig 238) but has not gotten her permit yet, so does not carry. I would like to go through the class with her as it would be a good activity to do together and my GA permit expires within the year. As active duty army, will I be able to apply for the TX concealed carry permit with a GA ID? I have purchased firearms in Texas with a copy of my PCS orders and my CAC. Does the same apply to Concealed carry permits?Any info anyone could provide would be great! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3mBF16F
