Denied for firearm purchase but have a CCW permit.

So I just went to pick up a AR pistol lower I ordered online at the local gun shop and when they ran my back ground check it came back "denied". I have a current CCW permit that I renewed less than a year ago I don't see how I could pass the application process to carry a concealed firearm but "denied" to purchase a firearm. Has anyone else been through this before? I filled out an "Appeal of Denial" from that the gun shop said they had to fax in. I have little faith in this process. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2SDbNrf
