Hello all. Just wanted some verification to make sure I do not break the law.I am a Virginia resident and have a VA resident permit. I did not renew it soon enough as I didn't realize it would take 4-6 weeks to get my new permit. It technically expires tomorrow and I have roughly two weeks before my new permit comes.In 2016 I took a Utah weapons course and have my Utah permit. I has not expired and is still valid for 3 more years.My understanding is, in the state of Virginia, I can still carry a firearm as I have my Utah permit, which is valid in this state.
