People really don't care as much as you might think.

I carry every day I go to class. I'm a College student and I am legally allowed to do so in my state. I, like many of us, have spent a whole hell of a lot of time worried about visibility/printing. Well, my friends, while I spend a hell of a lot of time worrying about my gun's visibility I really don't care about my own visibility. My queer ass sticks out like a sore thumb, let me tell you. I'm a man and I wear lots of pink, I wear some makeup, and practically leave a trail of glitter whenever I move. People's eyes are naturally drawn to my glorious self. I was doing a peer review of a paper I wrote for English class and I wrote an argument piece about why AR-15s are not a threat to society and should be available to the public, I was inspired by the professor lightly mocking AR-15 ownership in the US. The woman who I was assigned to work with during class often sits behind me and as she was reading my paper she grinned and said "I know you have a gun, I've seen it when you get up" and then we had a polite conversation about it. She got scared when she saw it but didn't react much, and then when we had a chance to talk about it she felt more comfortable. My point here, if there is one, is that most people don't care. I know you might think that everyone is going to start screaming and curl up in the fetal position if they see your gun but most people are just going to be mildly uncomfortable or curious. Try to remain concealed, but more importantly just be comfortable and realize that it's not that big of a deal if you aren't perfectly concealed at all times. Bravo Concealment OWB and a glock 19 or 26, for the curious. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2tkvUz7
