Have you changed your mind on a CCW gun because of size?

I have been reading the CCW subreddit for a few years and gained some great knowledge, but beginning to think about a good CCW pistol to buy. I'm looking at several options, but one thing I have learned reading the threads is to get a gun you are comfortable carrying everyday (it's useless left at home).My question is have you changed your mind on a pistol you wanted and maybe sacrifice capacity for something that was more comfortable? I'm looking at Springfield XDs or XDm as options. I would think the single stack (XDs) would be easier to carry being slightly thinner I feel.
