They seemed fairly inexperienced and asked me a few questions and complimented me on my firearm. Being relatively new myself I helped out with whatever I could. They were down to their last few rounds so I handed them a box of Federal Premium 9mm and said 'Hey, this rounds on me. That'll get you 10 more minutes.'. They were pleasantly surprised and asked am I sure since a box of ammo is like gold these days. I didn't mind, just wanted new shooters to enjoy range time.
