Hi, I'm an early 20s petite female from upstate New York, and I'm unsure as to what I can/should carry with me outside and keep in my home for safety. I currently have one of those cat shaped self defense keychains and pepper spray, but I was curious to know about things a little more substantial(?), like a taser or even a bb gun or airsoft gun? I'm apprehensive about real guns, I don't feel completely comfortable carrying a deadly weapon. I just want to be able to deter possible attacks and, at most, injure someone that is trying to hurt me. Any suggestions? Thanks.
