I'm moving to a somewhat questionable neighborhood (with 2 other roommates) in the next couple of days and though I carry a Springfield XDS 9mm on me all the time, I'm wanting to have something a little more potent available at home for potential bumps in the night. I have a mossberg 500c and an AR15 in .223 and I'm unsure of which to take. For this situation I'm taking one or the other. Any thoughts/personal experiences?
