I was watching a video on YouTube earlier today where Massad Ayoob walked through how you should address your CCW to a cop during a traffic stop.One point that he made is that if a cop asks you to hand over the gun, you should have him do it for you so that there’s no risk of someone else (like his fellow officer) thinking that you’re pulling a gun on the cop.This got me thinking about how comfortable I would feel letting a cop unholster my handgun that I carry appendix with a round chambered.I feel like with one wrong move could lead to an accidental discharge with fatal consequences.
