When does light have to be low enough to justify tritium over fiber optic

Like the title says, i think most people would argue that FO is optimal in the daytime/moderate light. Do you need to get to pitch black for tritium to take over as the better sight? What do you prefer for a ccw firearm?I ask bc i am shopping for cz p07 sights, and debating a standard black rear tritium front vs. black rear FO front.
