I am new to guns. I applied for my CWP last week. I have an idea of a gun I want - S&W M&P Shield M2.0 9mm. I see that Smith and Wesson has different frame sizes - full, compact, subcompact, microcompact. That specific gun is a microcompact. Are these frames standardized in the industry?
