Here's an odd question: Why do holster companies charge more money for making the holster compatible with extra-tall sights?

Why do holster companies charge more money for making the holster compatible with extra-tall sights?I've noticed this while holster shopping from multiple companies. Molding a LCP or a 2011 costs the same amount, but it's +$10 for taller sights. Is it because they have to do something to the mold? Or is it just because they can?I'm not complaining exactly (though who likes paying more). Mostly just trying to understand what goes into making a holster via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/38K9Tub
