A Legal question...

Question: Lets say you are walking down the sidewalk, a man exists a door, walks quickly away, hands in pockets. Another man, exists stumbles, bleeding, says "that man shot me and killed my family". You didn't see the 1st man do anything. You are not being threatened by the first man, he is walking away. If you draw your gun and tell the 1st man to stop, and he doesn't, so you shoot and kill him. Can you be charged with murder? Or let say, there is a mass shooter incident. You are there, you see a man with a gun running. He is not threatening you. You "think" he is the shooter. Can you shoot him? I realize you can use your gun for "self defense" and probably in defense of someone else if you actually see someone being attacked. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/32cU7nI
