The only rule (as far as I can tell/have read) that differs in my state (Maine) is that when you carry permit-less, you must inform LE during a stop. I don’t mind duty to inform, and I probably would inform them anyway just to avoid anything getting weird if they noticed without me saying anything. Are there any benefits to getting my permit at that point? Do a majority of states honor out of state permits? I don’t do a ton of traveling, and the 2 states around me also have non resident permit less, so it almost seems like a waste. Anyone with tips/opinions? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2H4gW6k
