Hey folks...
Over the last few weeks, I've been in several confrontational situations that almost resulted in physical combat. Thankfully, nothing happened, but leading up to the moment, I found my heart was racing and I almost couldn't speak... I've scrapped in the past but nothing too intense. This reaction has really surprised me.
Basically, I want to stay calm and in control, in case it kicks off.
So has anyone got any methods of combating this stress or fight or flight mode? I understand breathing techniques could help. Just not sure what to do.
Any ideas/help is gratefully appreciated.
