Being that I'm in self defense for being sexually abused my whole life, I don't love having to use the world sir at all. We can't ignite the now sexual connotation with the word. I don't think anyone should be forced to call anyone sir.
It triggers me and puts me in a weak and bad mindset. I'm annoyed I already signed up for the classes bc if I knew this I wouldn't have.
