Traveling

Hello fellow people of CCW,I have read the laws regarding transporting a firearm with a CWP across state lines. I am planning a trip that would take me from my home state where I have a CWP, to a state that reciprocates with my home state, according to reciprocity maps. I also have a non resident permit that allows me to carry in more than my home state.My question is, the wording on the law on carrying a concealed weapon across multiple states. It sound like I need to keep the firearm and ammunition separate and locked in the trunk, even if I am licensed to carry in the state I am traveling in. I am not sure if I can keep my firearm loaded and on me if I am in a state that reciprocates with my permits.I hope this was clear. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3rWTIDw
