Preparing for a possible DGU

So my Girlfriend (22) has a semi unstable ex boyfriend that’s been harassing her over the last several months. They broke up in March after he sexually assaulted her in her sleep, and over that time frame he’s appeared at her house a few times, sent her flowers, and has been contacting her through social media. (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, instagram). After the latest incident where he drunk called her from a mutual friends phone because his number and all forms of his social media were blocked, she has decided to finally get a restraining order after some convincing. She’s worried though that once he gets served with it, he’s going to appear at her house again angrily and attempt to hurt her or worse. He owns firearms and when it gets approved I believe state law (Arizona) says he has to surrender them. Aside from getting her out of that house altogether, what can I do to make sure that she feels safe in her own home for the time being? Once he gets served, I’m going to stay with her for the first week with my firearm and hoping nothing ever comes to fruition. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/303oiw8
