I live in sacramento and im planning on getting my ccw soon but cant buy ammo?

I am 18 and have an interview set up for my ccw in Sacramento... But I cant buy ammo till i'm 21? I'm getting my gun family transferred to me but do I really need to nag my parents to get me ammo even though I will have a ccw?
