Getting my CPL soon, yet don't have a suitable pistol. I'm thinking single stack 9mm. I've handled .357 Sig, .40, etc. My opinion is that a pistol is used most efficiently to fight my way to my rifle. I don't need to fight a battle, I just need to escape a bad situation. I'm also of the opinion that .380 isn't a hell of a jump from .22. So 9mm is where I land. I'm not totally averse to a freaking .38 wheel gun.
