I need help figuring out if I can carry at work or who to ask.

I work for a local government agency. I dont want to get much more in depth than that other than it is not emergency services. After reading the policy it appears that I cannot carry at work."Unlawful possession or use of a deadly weapon, including all firearms, is not permitted at work or on (local government) property, including in a (local government) vehicle, unless such possession or use of a weapon is a neccesary and authorized requirement of the job."Edit: As this is a government job in a very progun area, do you thing there would be a good way to get this policy changed.
