I'm tossing up between Kyokushin and Muay Thai for self defense. I heard both are solid bases for self defense in real life situations.
The catch is I can't risk a concussion to the head anymore. So if I do Muay Thai, I have to limit myself to light sparring only. If I do Kyokushin, I'll have to stick to light kicks only to the head.
Which of these is better for self defense do you think? Keeping in mind I won't be risking a concussion. Appreciate any input.
