So this just happened a couple hours ago. I'm just getting off work well before dawn. A couple blocks away I'm at a red light waiting to turn right, no other cars or people nearby and there's a pedestrian crossing the street in front of me. As he got closer I looked over at him and he looked away abruptly. He walked unusually close to the front of my car as he crossed, and as soon as he cleared my front fender he made a dash to my passenger door handle. It seems like I had a lot of time to think whether my door was locked(always locked of course) and in that quick moment I just dropped the clutch and made the turn, looked back and the dude was standing in the middle of the street with his hands up like he just missed the school bus. Glad I wasn't glued to my phone and good thing I was paying attention. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3pwxSb1
