I had a ND and now I’m having a hard time carrying a round in the chamber.

I’ll try and keep it short, here’s the story of the ND.6am going to the store on a weekend, my gun is in the safe NOT in the holster, I turned my head while holstering my gun and the side of the holster hit the trigger and sent a round flying into the bottom corner of my wall and into a closet. It stopped in a box of dog toys. I was deaf for most of the day and my wife thought i was dead.I guess I just sat on the floor not answering her mostly because I was deaf and because I was in shock that it happened to me when I preach gun safety. This was a year ago and I still think about it all the time. I have since changed a lot about how I am around firearms. It’s something I’ll never forget. Now I’m having a hard time carrying one in the chamber when I carry out of fear I’ll have a ND again. I know I won’t with how insanely cautious I am now but I also said that previously.Anyone have any advice on how to get over this? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3bjEfGo
