My friend and I applied for a FOID in early October 2020. He received his in early February, so he only waited about 4 months. I‘ve been checking the status on mine ever since. It’s been more than 6 months since I submitted my application and the status still reads “Under Review”. Any reason why mine could be taking so long? The rest of our friends are waiting on me to get mine so we can attend a conceal carry class together via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3mOEOgg
