Got some pepper spray on my hands after some dripped from the canister when I was practicing . How long will it stay and what should I do?

I did some practice shots and I wasn't expecting to get it all over my hand. I immediately washed it with soap but I still worry that it's still on my hand and I could accidentally touch my eyes and get it on me. It didn't burn at first but once I took a shower I felt the burn and I realized this stuff is still on me after washing my hands with soap earlier.
