Looking for first CCW....inventory not great, what to do?

Ive been telling myself over and over not to buy any weapon without first testing it. The problem Im finding during my first concealed carry search is that there are a bunch of possibilities, but local inventory does not have a lot of them. I can find the G19, but what about a CZ P10c, or a Sig 365XL? Or a myriad of others.Its a pretty hefty purchase (financially and "personally"), but do you buy a gun without test firing one?
