Just because you can get a still photo of you "concealing" your pistol doesn't mean it's concealed

This may just be a pet peeve of mine, but if you've spent more than about 30 seconds on this sub, you've likely seen at least a dozen still photos of people posing in their (questionably dirty) mirror showing off how well they're "concealing" their setups. "Look, you can't even tell I'm appendix carrying a full size P320 w/ 30rnd mag, RDS, silencer, and X400" or some other similar setup. Replies are always a mixed bag, but invariably, it's mostly a circle jerk congratulating the OP for finally having something bigger than a cornichon in their pants, all while not printing. The issue is, you can conceal just about anything for a still photo. If you want to actually demonstrate how "good" your setup is (which is presumably why you're posting in the first place), stop posting still photos, or a sketchy video of you slowly turning in your best rotisserie chicken imitation, and start showing these setups in action. Walking around, grabbing something off the shelf, sitting and standing, trying to put on a jacket, etc. These are the actions you're actually going to be doing out in the real world, and are the actions most likely to get your shirt tucked in under your handle, or lifted up over it, or most likely, just pressed up against it from movement forward and cause your "concealed" setup to not be all that concealed. Sure, no one might notice (or care) in the real world, but just posting a still photo of you in the bathroom is about as effective in showing how well your setup works as trying to put out a fire with gasoline. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2FR40Se
