What are some go to responses when someone asks you if you are carrying a gun?

For some context, I carry at the university I attend. I was just asked if I had a gun, I assume he saw a print, I had no idea what to say and just said "nope". What are some more tactful responses I could use in the future? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3bZxf0P
