For those of us with significant others that don’t carry, do you find yourself trying to stay exclusively on one side of them in public?

I know it’s kind of a weird post but here me out. Whenever I’m out with my fiancé and I’m carrying (she’s slowly getting into carrying herself) I always walk on her right because I don’t want my weapon hand to be obstructed by her, and even more so because I’d ideally like to use my left hand to guide/shield/move her while still getting to my weapon with my right hand.Definitely drastically overthinking this, but I’d love to hear about your perspectives.Edit: Someone brought up being out with your kids.
