EDC Belts. SOE or Blue Alpha hybrid

Hey everyone. Sitting at the dealership waiting for the wife’s truck to be worked on so figured I’d post since I’ve been trying to get some input on a few belts.Belts I’ve owned/wornFirstSpear line 1 belt (way too flexible). REDACTED click belt (way too rigid). Alonzo embassy belt (not fine enough adjustments). And finally what I currently wear a Graith Specialist belt. So far I love the flexibility and ease of adjustment with the Velcro strap. I can adjust it to just the perfect size based on if I’m carrying or riding in the car or am up and moving around or maybe just had a big meal. The flexibility is wonderful on it and I feel like it made a monumental difference in Appendix being comfortable enough to carry that way. However, I would like maybe just a hair more rigidity for if I am carrying a bigger gun, but not so stiff that it digs into my sciatica like the REDACTED belt.My two current choices are the Blue Alpha Gear hybrid and an SOE edc. I’ve read a bunch of reviews, watched tons of videos, but I still can’t seem to find the info I am wanting to sell me on it.The Blue Alpha Gear looks great, I love how they incorporated the hybrid buckle but it looks like it would be very comparable rigidity to my Graith belt. I was also kind of wanting a belt with a MC Black print but that’s not a deal breaker. The SOE belt seems to be world renowned. It looks like it should be a bit more rigid while still having enough flexibility to stay comfortable all day. The thing I am most concerned about is how thick the belt seems to be in the overlapping section. I would likely wear the buckle off to the side for appendix but I am curious if it will stand out off my hip too much. I am also curious how thick the belt is and if that interferes with clips like the metal spring Discrete Carry Concepts clips that I prefer on my holsters. My last SOE question is, what is the point of the Velcro lining on the edc belt? Do people run a Velcro inner belt under it still like a duty belt, or does the Velcro inside grip your pants/jeans better preventing side to side slippage? In which case seems like it would be a big plus for me but I again worry about that making the belt too thick for the metal overhooks.I’m probably over thinking this and if I could I would just buy both belts and sell the one I like less but I’m bored and felt like making my first reddit post. Thanks in advance for your time!(P.s. current carry is a g43 in t1c axis slim) via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2HNVX6Q
