A good friend of mine had a drug problem in the past and as such is a convicted felon. He has since been through treatment and therapy, turn his whole life around, and has been sober for over 3 years. He is wanting to work with his attorney to get his felony expunged so he can own a gun but until he has the funds to do so he is a prohibited person from owning a firearm. Unfortunately crime has started to increase in his neighborhood and he's fearing down his family's safety. What would you recommend as a home defense weapon other than a gun? I'm thinking an aluminum baseball bat. For what it's worth he's a physically strong guy so something that required some strength to use wouldn't be a problem. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2YKAdhX
